Chris Guillebeau is technically an author, blogger and speaker. But he might as well be the president judging by how packed his schedule is.
Guillebeau’s visited every country in the world (193 in total) before his 35th birthday. That’s not the only piece of info he can casually slip into a conversation and outshine everyone else.
He’s also the New York Times bestselling author of “The $100 Startup,” “The Art of Non-Conformity” and other books.
And where is he now? On the road on a 100 city tour to meet readers and promote his new book “Side Hustle: From Idea to Income in 27 Days.”
Guillebeau, a seasoned side hustler himself, seems untiring in his quest to travel and help others make more money.
“Last year I finished the 30-city ‘Born for This’ tour and thought, ‘When can I do this again?’,” he recently wrote on his blog.
So where does Guillebeau get the stamina to keep going?
From his fans.
A staggering number of people follow his social media accounts.
Guillebeau is so grateful for each and every single one of them that he made a daily habit out of reading notes from his readers and podcast listeners.
“Many of their stories are inspiring, and I usually end up thinking: ‘I can’t believe I get to make a living by serving these people,’” he said.
Another thing that keeps Guillebeau going is an unquenched thirst for improvement. “I think it’s important to believe that our best work is ahead of us, and that striving to ‘always do better’ is part of what makes us happy,” he said.
